Marston Holdings are hiring for a Management Accountant role, this is a commercially focused role, responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the Technology Business in the Group.
The role will also assist in streamlining financial processes within the Technology Business with a key focus on partnering with the BI Team to implement new systems/procedures and business acquisition integrations.
The ideal candidate will be qualified or part qualified accountant with strong excel skills and experience working in a fast-paced busy environment commensurate with PE. Prior experience of a technology service led business model would be an advantage.
Core Duties & Responsibilities include
Preparation of month end accounts, commentary, and reporting [processing journals, stock monitoring, coordinating invoicing and POs, finalisation of P&L, reconciliations]
Weekly sales, forecasting and stock reporting
Partner with operational delivery team to monitor stock management
Assist with regular forecasting and annual planning cycles
Assist with evaluating and tracking risk and opportunities
Assist with initiative & synergy tracking vs budget and forecast
Support the continuous monitoring & review of contract and performance against projections
Support the BI Team and Technology Business with the implementation of new integrated Finance System modules and business acquisition integrations
Provide support to operational colleagues and other stakeholders, including improving financial acumen and awareness
Deliver to reporting times, maintain the accuracy of all journals and final GL balances
