Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (Nights)
£35,000 – 40,000 per annum, plus 31% shift allowance

One of Europe’s leading pharmaceutical companies who are involved in the development, manufacturing and supply of speciality medicines targeting several therapeutic areas are recruiting now! With one of their key manufacturing sites based in East London, this business has continued to grow its product range across both sterile and non-sterile ranges and distributes their products globally.
In this position, you would be responsible for carrying out maintenance activities and improvement projects in a busy, pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Offering a fantastic pathway for progression and exposure, this is an outstanding opportunity for an engineer with some previous demonstrated experience.
This position will be on a permanent night shift and will benefit from 31% shift allowance, on top of the basic salary.
Experience:
- Previous experience of maintenance engineering within a GMP setting is essential!
- Ideally, applicants should have been working in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Multiskilled training - preferably as part of a recognized engineering qualification.
- Previous experience with planned preventative maintenance.
- Basic machining using lathe and milling machine preferred.
- Welding using MIG, ARC and gas techniques.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
