Job description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Factory Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our Scallop cutting and packing departments. This role is open for those who seek either full time and flexible working opportunities with overtime also available.
Ideally you will display an interest in developing a career in the seafood industry and we seek individuals who aspire to climb to supervisory positions as they progress. You will be given full training to develop to our proud food hygienne and safety standards on site.
Responsibilities:
- Providing Scallop products to our Scallop shucking workforce
- Washing Scallops to a high level and securing product temperatures throughout the process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Packing a range of chilled and frozen Scallop products
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform quality checks on products.
- handling deliveries and warehouse duties
Shift pattern is 05:00 to 13:00 Monday-Friday. Overtime is at a rate of 1.5 x £rate
20 days holiday per year + 9 Statuary holiday days. Statuary holidays taken over 2 weeks at Christmas and New year
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £10.60-£11.60 per hour
