The Assistant Manager role in our Campuses Team operates across all areas of delivery within a students’ union, from Student Societies to Student Voice and more. Successful applicants will need to be passionate, creative and talented, with an interest in being on the cutting edge of innovation and delivery in the student movement.
Supported by the Head of Campus Management you will manage the day-to-day delivery of local operations at Coventry University’s Students’ Union’s sites across the London region, ensuring the students’ union offer is continuously meeting, and exceeding, the needs of our members and stakeholders.
The successful post-holder will be a key driver in developing our services across the London campuses and will work directly with students, their representatives and local university management teams, to improve the student experience and the offer at their campuses.
You will provide support to local Student Officers, Student Representatives and members across a range of functions including democratic/representative services, supporting student groups and societies, as well as the development and delivery of events and activities.
You must be an effective communicator to reach our student representatives and establish strong working relationships with faculty management, internal students’ union departments and other key stakeholders.
This post is working full-time 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis across our current four main campuses in the region at Liverpool Street, Dagenham, Greenwich and Vauxhall.
A flexible approach to working hours is required. Some international work and travel may be required. Please be aware that we are working towards an agile working model at the Students’ Union. This will be discussed with the successful candidate.
