Position summary:
The Logistics Operations Manager will be reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain.
This is a newly created role within the continually growing Company. A very exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistic Professional who has previously set-up new warehousing and logistic solutions, has organised a fast-paced environment and streamlined all process to be extremely efficient.
This role is critical to ensuring on time delivery of our products whilst maintaining stock accuracy and transport costs
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Review and assess current warehouse processes; design and implement appropriate practices and procedures to optimise workflow and maximise potential revenue;
· Responsible for the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of product
· Manage the intercompany deliveries
· Proactive approach to improving working practices and identifying systems for improvement
· Responsible for managing all warehouse and logistics supplier performance, ensuring quality and set standards are maintained.
· Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity for the warehouse & line-feeding team;
· Responsible for workforce planning and budgeting .
· Identify areas of risk (reputational, operational, environmental, quality and safety) and steer the situation to the most advantageous and practical solution;
· Develop, Lead, mentor and motivate the team.
· Assist Planning and Purchasing Team to strengthen stock accuracy.
· Feedback frequently to the Senior Leadership Team on performance, efficiencies, goals and challenges.
· Work in close collaboration with Operations Team to implement best practices
· Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies;
