AML Administrator (Anti -Money Laundering)£11.76 per hourBirmingham35 Hour week (Hybrid 1-2 days office)Start Date 26th JuneAbout The Company:A Legal Regulator is looking for 2 x Anti-Money Laundering Administrators to join their team on 26th June for a minimum of 6 weeks may be longer. This is an ideal opportunity for Legal graduates who have some previous Customer Service/ Administration experience, or candidates who have excellent Customer service and written skills but only looking for a short-term assignment.
About the AML Administrator (Anti -Money Laundering) position:To deal with and follow up as appropriate telephone calls, written enquiries, and general correspondence from external and internal stakeholders
Contribute to the monitoring of firms’ compliance with our regulatory rules by ensuring all firms provide the information required
Provide guidance to firms on filling in the form as needed and escalating where appropriate to the AML Policy team
To populate and send standard or tailored emails to solicitors and stakeholders
Assist with reporting as appropriate and provide regular updates about issues encountered with firms’ compliance with the requirement to provide a full response.
Responsible for producing high quality and accurate work to make sure individual assigned project tasks and team objectives are achieved within set timescales
General administrative tasks and ad-hoc administrative duties as required working flexibly to meet business requirements
Input and retrieval of data, utilising IT systems where necessary.
Assist the company in delivering an excellent customer experience.
Skills and experience required for the AML Administrator:Educated to at least GCSE level (or equivalent) - including English and Maths
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to use the internet
Ability to record data accurately
Ability to work to set schedules and deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work flexibly and comfortably in a constantly changing environment whilst effectively managing conflicting priorities
Willingness to learn and develop, taking ownership of own development
Strong commitment to equality and diversity
DesirableAble to handle complaints and understand when appropriate to escalate for further support, or, to record formally
Demonstrable experience of being able to handle multiple complex enquiries and, take ownership of work
Experience of analysing information and evidence gathering
An aptitude for problem solving in a methodical and orderly manner
