Assists staff, providers, residents and medical students with patient care, clerical, and organizational tasks using a team based approach in providing patient care. Responsible for appointment scheduling, diagnostic testing and medical record management for the Department of Neurology. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the care services. Assists in procedures/surgeries while maintaining sterile field. May perform pseudo scribing for providers. Conveys a positive image of USFTGP. Note: Must successfully demonstrate competencies within job position.

LPN: High School diploma or equivalent. Licensed as Practical Nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464 - maintain an active Florida license. BLS/AED certification is required and must be maintained; demonstrated competency within 90 days required.
