Meet the team:
Dexcom is seeking a Sales Analytics Business Partner to work closely with regional sales teams to provide analysis and insights to support the delivery of local business plans. The individual should be a self-starter and is comfortable working with large, complex and diverse data sets to provide actionable and insightful information to business partners.
Where you come in:
- Utilise various data sources to conduct in-depth sales data analysis. Identify trends, patterns, and performance metrics to generate meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for sales leaders and key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain regular sales performance reports and dashboards that provide comprehensive visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs). Present these reports in a clear and concise manner to support sales leadership in making informed decisions.
- Regular contact with sales teams to ensure that analysis and insights are validated, relevant to business needs and acted upon. Ensure that new sales employees are onboarded in the effective use of sales analytics and reporting.
- Working with third party data providers to provide sales analysis and identify potential opportunities for sales prioritisation.
- Work closely with sales leaders to develop and refine sales strategies and go-to-market plans. Use data insights to identify growth opportunities and prioritise customer segments. Proactively identify enhancements to the sales coverage to enhance sales operating effectiveness/efficiencies.
- Working with the Sales Training team to ensure that relevant analytics training needs are identified and provided.
- Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to understand business needs and align sales analytics initiatives with overall organisational goals.
- Support special projects designed to improve commercial performance and/or expand capabilities. Other responsibilities include supporting initiatives that build and expand Dexcom’s Sales Operations capabilities.
What makes you successful:
- Proven experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., sales f orce, Veeva) and other sales-related software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical aptitude to include Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.
- Prior experience in the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industries is advantageous.
- You may have experience of working with third party medical data providers e.g. IQVIA, GERS or Binley’s. You may be fluent in a second European language.
