Heathfield Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot

£12.00 per hour

We are working in partnership with the UK’s leading mobile home manufacturer are recruiting for 2 Loaders for an ongoing temporary assignment in Heathfield Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot

Reporting directly to the Moving Team Leader the purpose of this role is to ensure that the finished homes are moved into place across the site, ready for them to be collected and loaded onto the transporter lorries.

As a Loader your duties will include:

• Helping to safely manage the movement and direction of homes and lodges;
• Ability to drive a forklift efficiently and effectively, and assist others in their duties of reversing and unloading, in house training can be provided for this after Probation.
• Observing safe systems of working;
• Ensuring health and safety regulations are met and best practice standards observed.
• Multi trade/handyman skills preferable to help with other jobs available during the day.

About You:

• Forklift License (desired)
• Previous experience of working within a factory environment preferable but not essential.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Dynamic and proactive.
• Able to competently lift and load in a safe manner

Working Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Thursday, 11am – 7.30pm
• Friday, 11am – 6. 30pm
• £12.00 per hour

This is a factory based role where you will be working at their site in Heathfield, Newton Abbot.

Key skills; carpentry, wood work, bench joiner, 2ndfix

Successful candidates will be pro-active team workers, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
