Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. Key Responsibilities:
- Aid staff and be the first point of contact for learners using XYZ CNC lathe and milling machines in addition to manual machines
- Maintaining a safe and efficient workshop, ensuring compliance, maintenance and servicing of machines is kept up to date, and keep stock of consumables and material supplies
- To keep technical knowledge up to date in the safe operation of manual and XYZ CNC machines
About you:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Hold a CNC Miller/Lathe operator certification
- Be able to interpret CAD drawings
- Proven track record of working in a relevant role

The successful candidate must go through First Responder training and undertake the duties. Upon completion of training, you will receive an additional £50 per month.
