Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + up to 15% bonus per annum

What you’ll be doing
- Providing Paralegal support to NHBC’s in-house Litigation team and working closely with the Claims department.
- Assisting the Litigation team with internal reporting.
- Assisting with drafting, filing and serving Court documents (primarily in the High Court).
- Assisting with drafting complex Letters of Claim in compliance with the Pre-Action Protocol for Construction and Engineering Disputes (2nd Edition).
- Undertaking and supporting a variety of work with competing deadlines; able to handle matters expeditiously, proactively and can follow through on projects to a successful completion, often with deadline pressures and where work may be of a sensitive, confidential nature or have organisational impact.
- Motivated to keep legal knowledge up to date.
- Able to make and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
The ideal candidate will have
- Aspiration to develop their career as a Paralegal.
- Minimum 3+ of years working as a Litigation Paralegal, within a private practice or in-house role.
- Experience of working on successful County Court and High Court disputes.
- Demonstrates solid understanding of civil litigation procedure in England & Wales.
