ABOUT THE ROLE
Algorand Foundation, as an important stakeholder and a good citizen of the blockchain industry, is committed to investing in the next generation of legal talent (i.e. you) which aims to build/shape law, regulation, and culture of high-standard integrity, to pursue continued development of blockchain adoption and its applications. The bespoke internship program will give the candidate first-hand experience in a unique role, where the person will be able to play an important mission in their legal education.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Legal Counsel with contract review.
- Support legal team with day-to-day operations.
- Perform research on blockchain regulation and related policy development.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Attention to detail and great time management skills.
- Sensible, and comfortable with working with colleagues across time zones.
- Curious, eager to learn, with a strong interest in technology in general and blockchain in particular.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
GOOD TO HAVE (OPTIONAL)
- A law student in the final or penultimate year of law school.
- On track for an upper second degree (or equivalent score or higher).
