Title: Software Development Engineer (Palantir focused)
Location: Remote United Kingdom
Reports To: Anthony Griffiths

The Role:
Developing within Palantir’s Foundry, a cloud-based platform for data integration, flexible analytics and vizualisation, using core programming languages including Python/PySpark, Javascript/Typescript, HTML and CSS
The Impact You Will Have in This Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to play a part in developing the data pipeline and interface that presents analyses for J.D. Power's clients as well as showcasing analytics related to their highly influential Initial Quality Study (IQS) and Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS).
What You'll Be Doing in This Role:
- Agile development of visualizations and dashboards within the Palantir Foundry Platform using a range of modules and technologies to designer specifications
- Contribute to the evolution of the dashboards and visualizations, verifying feasibility and innovating with advanced data visualizations.
- Liaise with a predominantly North American based global team to design and develop systems to support a broad range of auto clients
- Generate detailed specification documents from a set of requirements.
- Testing the functionality in controlled, real situations before going live
- Any other duties as required by the business
Qualifications of this Role:
- Looking for graduates in a related Computer Science degree or higher
- Essential experience in:Python
HTML
CSS
Javascript/Typescript
- Desirable experience in:PySpark
C#
ASP.Net
Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in agile development and/or utilizing source control is desirable
- Familiarization with Automotive industry also useful
