As our newly appointed Legal Support Specialist you will have responsibility for technical title checking, carrying out audits and file reviews, ad hoc coaching/mentoring and training and assisting with the ongoing training for our outsourced service providers in India.
As a Legal Support Specialist, you will be based in our Conveyancing Department, primarily reporting to the Senior Legal Support Manager on a day-to-day basis, but ultimately responsible to the Managing Director.
Role Responsibilities:
- To complete the full title check process on property transactions as directed - To carry out Title Checking with production of appropriate reports and legal enquiries and ancillary documents
- To carry out Audits and File Reviews within our Conveyancing Business and the wider Group
- To deliver on-going coaching and training to our outsourced service providers in India and other locations as required – this may include onsite training in India
- To complete ad-hoc coaching. Providing training to team Members in our offices across England
- To improve our case management system – develop caseflow / workflow processes across our Group and to our outsourced service providers
- Work on and recommend best practice ideas.
- To assist as required with complex / VIP cases
- Raise performance by supporting, coaching, motivating, and challenging colleagues and building on performance and development
- Manage priorities effectively whilst demonstrating flexibility, often balancing conflicting demands
- Lead by example in growth culture by demonstrating own commitment to personal development
- Assist Senior Legal Support Manager/ Managing Director with any other duties as required
- Monitor and comply with third party obligations and requirements.

- Flexible approach
- Minimum 5 years’ experience (but all levels considered including more senior) in conveyancing fee earning dealing with sales, purchases and remortgages
- Must be competent and show experience in: Freehold, Leasehold, Shared Ownership / Equity, Lease extensions, Enfranchisement, Defective leases and titles, Registered and Unregistered properties, Transfer of Equity, Remortgage and Refinancing work, Carrying out File Reviews and Audits
