The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit two Learning Support Assistants to work at our Worle Community School – An Academy. This is an exciting opportunity within our SEND team, with the aim of supporting our students by enabling them to engage confidently and independently in their learning.
For the right candidate, this role provides the opportunity to make a difference and stamp your mark where it is needed, high quality development opportunities and a supportive and dynamic learning environment, highly supported by a hands-on Leadership Team.
This is a very exciting opportunity for individuals who would relish the chance to join the WCSA community.
What you will do:
- Deliver classroom support for pupils, planned and supervised by teachers. (Individual and small groups – e.g. SEND and Inclusion)
- Support colleagues by assisting with resource preparation, display and care and support of pupils including health care.
- Keep records of work in order to provide feedback and general support.
- Contribute to Student Profiles and PSPs
The successful candidate will have:
- A qualification in Literacy and Numeracy equivalent to GCSE Grade A*-C or Level 2, on the national vocational framework.
- Some experience of working with children, ideally in a school context.
- Basic ICT skills.

This role involves working with children on a daily basis and is therefore in regulated activity.
