The role is to start in the new academic year - September 2023. About the role as a Learning Support Assistant: You will have an amazing opportunity to support and empower young children who need a little extra help in the classroom Some of these students struggle with extra needs such as ADHD,OCD, ASD and other learning difficulties. These difficulties stem from childhood trauma and difficult upbringings. These children thus have struggles with stress and anxiety which in turn affect their school life This school are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to come in and help their students reach their full potential. To be successful in this role as a Learning Mentor, you should have the following: Enthusiastic and positive outlook and personality An understanding of the importance of safeguarding Be able to take initiative well Facilitate a fun and safe learning environment A DBS certificate, or be willing to apply for one Experience working with children. Experience working with children with additional needs will be advantageous Graduates are most welcome to apply You must have eligibility to work and live in the UK.
