Junior Content Designer
Up to £30,500 plus great benefits (Work level 6B)

We’re looking for a junior content designer to join our Customer Products team at Co-op and help shape our wide range of digital products and services. You’ll be working with other designers and engineers in a multi-disciplinary environment as well being part of our design and content community. Within our product teams we prioritise working in the open and creating experiences that work for our customers and for Co-op. What you’ll do
- identify and evidence user needs, and show how you’ll meet them
- create user-focused content to be used across different channels
- turn business language into accessible content that our customers, colleagues and members understand
- collaborate with people across Co-op, championing the principles of good content design
- monitor how content is performing, using user behaviour and feedback to improve it
- take part in research sessions, including online and in-person
- take part in our community of practice to share design knowledge across the wider digital team
This role would suit people who have
- the ability to create content that’s accessible and usable for web and mobile products
- an understanding of the importance of making content decisions based on user behaviour, data, and research
- some experience of using metrics to measure the success of content against customer and business goals
- the ability to build positive relationships with partners in the business
- the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and with specialists from different areas
- an understanding of content publishing systems
- examples of previous content work - you’ll be asked to demonstrate and talk through these examples at interview stage
