We are looking for a new Learning and Development Officer to join our team. We are seeking applicants who has experience of developing and delivering blended learning and development packages via remote methods.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a homebased Learning and Development Officer to join our in-house training team covering England and Scotland. Your role will require you to help us to continue to embed a learning culture and fulfil the learning and development needs of our employees as set out in VoiceAbility’s Training Plan. This will require the development and delivery of a range of engaging and high-quality learning and development products and packages.
A full time Learning and Development Officer will work 35 hours a week, between Monday and Friday 9am - 5pm. The post is a permanent contract with a starting salary between £22,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience.
How will you make a difference?
You will be responsible for ensuring that employees training and development needs are met. By being passionate about your work you will provide professional and empathetic support and advice.
You will be able to research specialist, complex and sensitive topics around advocacy and working with vulnerable adults and children. You will work pro-actively and independently to ensure that the skills delivered to our employees through our training is the best possible, so that the clients we serve feel fully supported, are positive about their experience with VoiceAbility and achieve the best possible outcomes.
About you
You will have experience of working within a learning and development team, delivering blended learning, developing training packages and delivering training remotely.
You will have experience of developing training needs analysis, learning and development tools, approaches and feedback methods.
You must have excellent presentation skills, be analytically minded, passionate about the development of people to meet their full potential and the ability to self-reflect and continuously develop your personal skills and knowledge.
