Job description
As a HIAB Driver, you will provide a safe, compliant, reliable, effective delivery and collection service for Abird Power Solutions, carrying out deliveries and collections to our internal and external customers in a professional manner. You will be keeping an accurate record of deliveries and collections using your company issued mobile phone and new delivery app.
What will you do?
- Customer service! Although we have dedicated customer advisors within Abird, a lot of our customers only ever see our drivers as the face of the company! It’s really important as our HIAB Driver you are always going above and beyond for them.
- You will carry out deliveries and collections to our internal and external customers in a professional manner, representing the company at all times, whether you’re on the road, or with a customer.
- You will carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks ensuring any defects found are reported to the Depot Manager.
What do you bring?
To be considered for this role;
- You must have a full, clean UK driving licence
- You must also hold a full CPC licence along with your Digi Tacho card
- You must have an in-date HIAB licence, an in-date ADR licence is also advantageous
