Marketing Photographer (P/T) Spalding, England
Job description
Are you a passionate plant photographer who enjoys the challenge of creating the most effective ways to photograph and promote images across all marketing channels?
The Role
We're looking for someone who can create high quality images for our marketing channels, from initial photoshoots through to editing and uploads ensuring customer experience is catered for. The position is one day per week, working from our Gedney Hill Nursery with travel to and from Market Deeping and Ideal World in Peterborough as required.
- Create informative resource cards for our tv partner
- Identify site bugs/errors and work with the development team to amend them
- Monitor our online store to make sure current range is well represented (photography, styling, recommended prices).
- Create landing and category pages that rank highly within Google
- Ensure the site is categorised and merchandised in the best way possible for the different types of customers to maximise sales.
- Update product lead times in accordance with expected delivery dates
- Enter new and updated product information on marketplaces
- Create ways to optimise the customer UX
- identify potential issues and opportunities using Google Analytics and other reporting software
Of course, enthusiasm for horticulture and a knowledge of plants would be a distinct plus.
