PCIR Project Support
Glasgow
As a Barclays PCIR Project Support, you will be joining a team that will be responsible for managing large multiyear change programme, to deliver initiatives within the Global Cash Settlement Technology team. You will work on multiple projects, multiple asset classes and functional areas, and you will collaborate with team across global locations. Lastly, you will engage with colleagues within GCST and cross transaction cycles in Pune, Chennai, Prague, US and London and Tech, Ops, Middle Office, Finance, architecture, and design functions.

What will you be doing?
• Helping define and track a program of work across multiple applications, and enthusiastically engaging with project managers and technologists
- Working with Programme Delivery Lead & delivery teams at definition stage to confirm project scope, identify delivery plan, resource demand, testing & implementation
- Collaborating and facilitating across work streams/delivery teams to identify & proactively manage risks & issues
- Supporting teams to remove blockers & provide proactive management of risk issues and change control to mitigate delivery challenges
- Escalating to the programme/function lead as appropriate
- Working collaboratively with user to analyze and validate business requirements using relevant tools and approach relevant to audience and co/non collocated locations
- Creating presentations and communication materials for engagement with senior management
- Supporting for Delivery PM with budget tasks
• Excellent verbal, Witten and presentation skills and ability to face off with various levels of seniority
- Demonstrable track record of successful analysis and delivery from inception through to delivery ideally with cross function or front to back impacts
- Experience in engaging stakeholders, initiate and build relationships and negotiate at all levels of the organisation in a global matrix environment
- Proactive and delivery focused, with ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Experience of working simultaneously on multiple deliverables across numerous team/ areas, to effectively prioritise, to track actions and to drive to completion
- Good level of competency with Microsoft Office particularly PowerPoint, Excel
- Experience of managing tasks across different functions and across non-co-located teams
- Positive attitude to problem solving; ability to recognise & mitigate challenges & influence teams to work to identify solutions & produce/articulate summary to drive decision
