Candidates should:
Hold a HNC or SVQ level 3 qualification in Early Education and Childcare or equivalent
Have proven experience in delivering Curriculum for Excellence and “How Good Is Our Early Learning and Childcare?”. You should also have a working knowledge of Realising the Ambition and GIRFEC.
Successful candidates will be required to become a member of SSSC and PVG Scheme.
Responsibilities of the job include :
Providing learning experiences for children that are age and stage appropriate.
Taking part in staff training that is provided throughout the year.
Working as part of a team.
Supporting the staff team to develop their knowledge of child development and curriculum.
