Agile Delivery Manager - Windows 11 Upgrade
Based in London on a contract basis (2 - 3 days in the office and the rest working remotely) an Agile Delivery Manager to work across one of the key strategic Operating system modernisation projects including a Windows 11 Upgrade project which is being delivered using Agile.
Candidates can work through a Limited Company for this role.
The Agile Delivery Manager will co-ordinate and oversee Windows 11 build development, Discovery of Applications, QA Testing, Service Design and deliver Business User Communications and training.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the inception of Windows 11.
- Updating Project documentation, Status reporting and leading SteerCo and Stage Gate meetings.
- Managing the creation and operation of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Defining success criteria, maintaining a common view of the backlog, planning effectively and maintaining a timeline view.
- Working with the Head of QA and Test leads to ensure effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the Operating System - as well as working with the other IT Heads of Practice (Architecture, Commercial, PMO, Operations & Infrastructure, Applications and Integration and Insight and Innovation).
- Managing a set budget and helping to create the processes and procedures which will enable the future smooth operation of the Operating System for IT and the wider business.
Skills and experience required:
- Agile delivery leadership career with a preference for those with Product Ownership/Management Distributed development team leadership (near shore and offshore teams).
- Demonstrable capability of being able to manage Agile delivery scope with strong stakeholders.
- Has worked in large organisations working on project and programme enterprise governance with multiple levels of hierarchy and opaque reporting lines.
- Experience of delivering in a banking or civil service environment.
- Experience of implement Windows 7 -10 migrations or similar products.
- Experience of leading agile inceptions and facilitating product workshops.
