- Proven experience in digital photography in a commercial studio environment.
- Exceptional technical knowledge.
- Advanced knowledge of Capture One.
- Graduate or similar in a Visual Arts related degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of color correction and exposure.
What you'll be doing
- Produce high quality and consistently beautiful images.
- Image selection; working with on-set team to choose images that comply with the Style Guide.
- Prepare sets, checking that all equipment is functioning, setting up appropriate lighting and keeping accurate daily shoot records providing assistance to other team members where needed.
- Accurately name and archive digital asset files.
- Mark up images with clear and informative notes for the retouch team.
- Crop and process images, maintaining file size specification guidelines.
- Make improvements to photography workflow, improving efficiency, coordinating tests and presenting ideas.
- Test new lighting set ups.
- Meet personal targets and deadlines.
- Have an exceptional ability to work well individually and within a team whilst under pressure.
- Be responsible for care and upkeep of all studio equipment, props and supplies.
- Be the point of contact for photography team.
- Highlighting any inconsistencies or errors, flagging any reshoots or retouch amends.
- Regularly advise and mentor photographers.
- Delegating responsibilities to other team members to ensure that all deadlines and targets are able to be met.
- Research new equipment for the studio
