Job description

Resourcing Partner (Recruitment Resourcer / Recruitment Consultant)

Our highly successful team is growing due to growth in business; with new clients and buoyant recruitment market. We are victims of our own success, we have an increasing work load with varied opportunities across the team. A fantastic chance to develop your career and diversify your recruitment experience in a forward thinking team that offers progression opportunities for those with an appetite to learn on your journey with us.

Our Service

The Resourcing Solution is a hybrid professional recruitment service, delivering the depth of a consultancy service associated with in-house talent acquisition services together with the tenacity, ingenuity and drive of a commercial recruitment consultancy. The best of both.

We are driven by our public sector ethos; a trusted partner, customer focussed and high impact services, but deliver with our commercial mindset using low cost, innovative methods to really drive value.

We are the in-house recruiters to North Yorkshire Council and our public sector partners, but also have over 400 trading clients and a growing commercial income across multiple sectors, including Local Government, Health & Social Care, Emergency Services and Education to name a few…..

The Resourcing Solution deliver a wide spectrum of services that include: Executive Search, Permanent Recruitment, Recruitment Consultancy including agency services/interims, employability, careers advice, outplacement services, recruitment assessment services, recruitment marketing and digital solutions services.

Our growth to date has been based on reputation alone. Whilst we are multi-award winning and pioneering in much of what we do; we are far from complacent, we have more to learn, more to achieve and that is where you can make that difference.

New opportunities……

Our team recruits on behalf of a wide range of partners including the Brierley Group, consisting of a range of Companies which are wholly owned by North Yorkshire Council, but are completely separate employers in their own right. Each of these Companies has different staffing needs and recruiting for them offers a very diverse workload and a need to work creatively to attract staff to frontline roles such as Highways Operatives, through to professionals such as Quantity Surveyors and Engineers. Our Companies are thriving and growing with escalating recruitment needs, so we need to grow our team to support this.

In addition to the Brierley Group we also recruit for other public sector partners. This is predominantly senior roles in other local authorities, however our clients are not local! We deliver executive search for partner organisations in Nottingham, Gloucestershire, Doncaster and even Cornwall. Our reputation precedes us and an increasing client base is growing rapidly. Within local government we have specialist teams who recruit within Education and Health & Social Care both teams are expanding.

Our team members work on a portfolio basis and our new opportunities are likely to lie in one of the areas outlined above, with the opportunity to deliver in other areas according to your background and experience. We’d like to hear from forward thinking Recruiters who are keen to learn and grow with us, enjoy change and most of all a challenge….

We are looking for recruitment professionals to join us across the county, you do not require experience of working in Local Government, we especially welcome applications from other sectors, with experience of working with large and complex organisations an advantage.
