Head Bartender
Neighbourhood is the London venue operated by Sessions - The Record Label for Food. "The most exciting food start up in the UK!"
We partner with the most exciting talent in the industry to host revolving guest chef pop-up menus. Neighbourhood is currently hosting Eddie Huangs (Fresh Off The Boat) Baohaus brand. Famous for restaurants in New York and LA as well as viral dessert sensation "Get Baked". We also host "Beats & Eats" where we invite guest chefs to take over the site for 1 night only.
Constantly evolving, Neighbourhood is now preparing for its next adventure, returning to a more food market/hall style from the end of the Summer onwards with up to 4 food brands available in house and for local residents on delivery.
We're looking for a Head Bartender!
With revolving star chefs and the hottest brands, Life never tastes dull at Sessions.
Requirements:
- Senior team member experience, shift management of staff
- Strong bar knowledge including basic cocktails
- Cellar management experience
- Experience with stock takes and ordering a plus but not essential
- Opening & closing of a venue experience a plus but not essential
- Comfortable using software & tablets for reservations, orders, stock, HR, POS etc.
- Leadership skills - motivate, develop & mentor front of house team
- Work very closely with the senior culinary team to ensure smooth service and venue success
- Friendly, Positive Attitude
- Charismatic and energetic with a passion for food & drink
- Expert level of English language
- Right to work in the UK
