Responsibilities for the job role:
- Drive company cars and vans to a nominated local repairer, in preparation for MOTs and/ or repair.
- Clean company vehicles internally and externally
- Complete vehicle checks on cars and vans, escalating any safety concerns to the Fleet & Fuel Manager.
- Complete minor repairs on vehicles. To include but not limited to; change of lightbulbs, windscreen wipers, fluid top ups etc.
- Allocate vehicles to employees when repairs are required to permanent vehicles.
- Direct visitors to various parts of the site.
- Secure entrance gate of the site.
- Take receipt of deliveries and contact recipients to arrange collection.
- Escalating any issues such as unauthorised visitors to the Fleet & Fuel Manager.
- Perform maintenance duties when required i.e. ensuring the gatehouse and surrounding area is kept clean and tidy.
