We’re currently looking for an energetic, enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude to work as an early morning Delivery Driver for our client based in Exeter. This role is temporary, on-going.
Salary: £12.60 per hour plus overtime after 42hrs of £15.25
Shift pattern: Day shift | Monday – Saturday / 5 shifts per week / 04.00am – finish (average shift length 8/9hrs)
Role requirements:
· Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
· Ideally previous experience in delivery driving
· Excellent customer service skills
Role responsibilities:
- Delivering goods to customers on a designated route
- Ensure all delivery documentation is completed for each drop
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to the Depot Manager
- Display excellent communication skills, speed, and accuracy
- Initiative, an eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Accurately follow instructions given
- Full training is provided, although you will have had previous delivery driving experience, and a willingness to be flexible and productive with fantastic customer service skills is more important for this role
