SSL Security Services Limited is a security company providing Licensed SIA Door Supervision and clubs & bars
We are looking for a capable and responsible individual to join our team at one of our venues every Friday & Saturday night 7pm-2am with the occasional Thursday & Sunday night also
The successful candidate for this position will be required to monitor the flow of traffic, ensuring that our venues function in a safe manner and that the overall experience is enjoyable for customers and staff.
The Door Supervisor will be responsible for checking ID's, performing entry searches, providing early warning of any security threats and engaging with agitated or disruptive clientele to diffuse potentially volatile situations.
Responsibilities:
- Check ID's
- Perform random searches
- Observe and intervene to prevent physical altercations; act as a security presence.
- Maintain good working relationships with people in a club or bar (sometimes doing favours such as getting entry, giving advice, helping to move furniture etc.) and new arrivals.
- Be able to deal with people who are drunk or causing trouble.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 14 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Every weekend
- Night shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Felixstowe: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- security: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- SIA (required)
