Job description
We are seeking someone who is capable of tutoring chemistry and Physics to join our team.
The candidate should be able to teach all year groups up to GCSE level.
Previous tutoring experience is essential but not mandatory for this role.
The candidate should be able to:
- Plan and deliver an effective lesson and keep their students on task and engaged during lessons
- Employ various tutoring methods to meet students' individual needs
- Teach with passion and enthusiasm and able to engage and challenge students during lessons
- Able to motivate and inspire students in a friendly and inspirational manner
If hired you may be required to prepare teaching aids with the help of charts or PPT presentations to help the students understand the intricacies of the subject in a simple manner.
We will offer coaching in the first few weeks on how to plan and deliver an effective lesson; we are looking for a self starter who is willing to learn and develop as a tutor.
The successful candidate will be required to work on either work on Saturdays or Sundays at our Reading centre. Lessons taught at the centre will attract an additional 10% premium.

Contract length: 24 months
Part-time hours: 2-4 per week
Salary: £12.50-£18.00 per hour

Education:
- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
