As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and organised Project Coordinator to join our team in either the Northwest, or Northeast of England as part of our poling operations.
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of telecom projects.
- You will work closely with the project management team and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Your excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively will be key to your success in this role.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed of project progress.
- Monitor and track project timelines and milestones, to identify and resolve any potential issues.
- Oversee resource allocation and scheduling for our direct labour poling teams, and procurement of project materials.
- Facilitate effective communication between project team members, clients, and vendors.
- Support project risk management activities and proactively identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure project compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share best practices within the project management team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the telecoms industry.
- Knowledge and experience of co-ordination for telegraph pole provision works is desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficient in project management tools and software. Knowledge of telecom industry standards and regulations is highly desirable but not essential.
