As Children's Support Workers, you will be responsible for:
- Support children with health care needs ranging from 4 years to 17 years
- Supporting young people to take part in recreational activities and games
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children and adolescents by proactively handling all safeguarding procedures
- Attending to their personal care needs
- Reporting, recording and monitoring individual's growth through observing and record keeping
- Attending all ongoing training and supervisions in line with company policies and procedures
Skills and Experience:
Good communication skills both verbally and written
Genuine passion for helping others and wanting to make a positive difference
Reliable, trustworthy and a commitment to work
Compassionate, empathetic, and able to demonstrate motivational skills to young children
Willing to undertake additional role-based training
Experienced working in a similar setting
Able to communicate effectively with peers, parents, guardians, and service users
