Northern Monkey Bar is a craft beer taproom that serves up delicious food in a fun, casual atmosphere. We are a family-owned business that strives to provide the highest quality of food and service in a positive, supportive environment.
We are looking for a Kitchen Staff Member to work in our Bolton town centre location. Kitchen Staff Member responsibilities include preparing food and beverages, operating cooking equipment and cleaning up kitchen after hours. To be successful in this role you should be able to work independently and maintain our food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean food preparation areas and equipment
- Stock inventory (e.g. ingredients, supplies etc.)
- Help in the preparation and presentation of food and other items, such as drinks
- Clean and maintain the kitchen area – utensils, cooking appliances etc.
- Prepare simple dishes such as pizzas, fries and burgers
- Other duties as assigned by manager or cook
- Ensure that all workstations are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Keep the kitchen area clean – mops, vacuum cleaners, trash cans etc.
- Assist in other departments as required – quieter times may require you to assist the bar with making drinks, clearing tables etc.
We are looking for someone to work Fri/Sat only. The shifts might vary but kitchen opening times are 11am-10pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £9.00-£11.00 per hour
