Job description
We are searching for a Kitchen Assistant to work within our Harrogate Little Bee's Centre - we have part time roles available, to include at least 1 weekend day.
The role of Kitchen Assistant within our centre is a varied one and involves maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen, quick and efficient pot wash and occasionally assisting the Kitchen Manager and their team with food preparation.
We are a small business that serves a wide range of people within our centre, with a small local team. We strive to create a memorable, easy and enjoyable experience for every visitor that comes into our centre and the food we provide is at the heart of our ambition. Our menu consists of different, home-made options for both adults and children.
The day to day tasks that you will be expected to oversee would be:
- Keeping on top of pot wash, ensuring it doesn't become backlogged
- Keeping stock rotated and up to date, ensuring we order supplies in a timely manner
- Routine cleaning of the kitchen
- Assisting the cook when needed
- Learning and developing to be able to cover cook for full shifts
Our opening hours are 9:00 - 18:30, 7 days a week. Occasional flexibility may be required from usual days.
