About a role:
As a Macdonald’s Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding experience to all our guests. You should have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed our guest’s expectations. Often operating in the back office, you are the real ambassadors of our company and are committed to consistently delivering high standards.
Outline Job Description:
· To carry out daily, weekly and periodic cleaning schedules to the standard required and ensure the correct records are completed.
· To deliver and retrieve staff food in the canteen at specified times, and to ensure that the canteen is always clean.
· Wash all pots, crockery, cutlery, utensils and pans to a high standard, ensuring they are stored in the correct place and in a tidy manner.
· The disposal of all kitchen rubbish, and maintenance of the compactor and waste bin room, ensuring all boxes are compacted and floors are cleaned.
· To empty and clean the dishwashers on a daily basis.
· Ensure that the restaurant plate wash, pot wash and banqueting plate wash are maintained and organised, to reduce clutter during peak service times.
This position will include shifts working Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods, including bank holidays.
Salary: £10.00 per hour
