Job description

We are looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team. The Kennel Assistant is a dependable and dedicated individual who will follow our company's policies to ensure that all pets are taken care of appropriately. The Kennel Assistant will work as part of a team to help handle the animals and ensure their safety. The Kennel Assistant will also be responsible for helping walking, feeding and interacting with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Feed and water animals.
  • Clean cages, runs and kennels.
  • Maintain records of pets, pet owners and medical treatment.
  • Communicate with clients to ensure their pets' needs are met.
  • Communicate with co-workers to ensure tasks are accomplished.

It is a requirement for the applicant to have relevant studies in animal management or similar, it is also important for the applicant to have kennel and cattery experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week
