Based at our office in Borough Green, Kent.
37.5 Hours per week.
As a Junior Support Engineer for Kratos IT, you will provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting, as well as installation work directly to our customers, from our offices located in Borough Green, Sevenoaks.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to provide technical support for customers’ existing hardware and/or software installations and resolve as soon as reasonably possible using the resources available to you.
- Answer customer phone calls, log support tickets and work on them through to resolution.
- Install, configure and support desktop operating systems. (Mainly Windows 10 onwards) as well as basic support for server applications.
- Respond to alerts from our various monitoring systems to provide proactive maintenance and support, resulting in less downtime for our customers.
- Provide on-site support to customers when required.
Skills & Requirements
- Good to excellent understanding of Microsoft Desktop operating systems.
- Basic to good understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP etc.
- Basic understanding of mobile device troubleshooting (iPhone & Android)
- Eagerness to learn and become proficient in our core product stack.
- Excellent phone manner and customer service attitude. As well as the ability to describe and demonstrate complex issues in a way customers will understand.
- Excellent written English; most of your work will be customer facing. (Emails, documentation etc.)
- Ideally have 1+ years experience within a MSP environment.

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,500.00 per year
