Job description
We are looking for a Junior Systems Analyst to join our busy supply chain manufacturing systems team, based in our Howden office in Yorkshire. This is an exciting time to join an experienced manufacturing IS team in an organisation that is embarking on a broad programme of investment, upgrading and resilience across it’s supply chain.
What will I be doing as a Junior Systems Analyst
- Join a small team learning about operational technologies and gaining work knowledge of control systems that will aid you in supporting production line assets and ensuring they are always available and are well protected.
- Assist in providing a robust and resilient support strategy in line with operational team requirements.
- Providing business teams with IS knowledge and guidance
- Produce system documentation for current and new system / machine processes.
- Working with other manufacturing systems analysts and other IT teams to work on future systems evolution in line with our company strategy and departmental objectives
Key skills and experience required:
- A good all-round knowledge of IT is required
- Good documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Awareness of machine control systems.
- Knowledge of windows and linux operating systems
- Able to work to deadlines on projects and support.
- A willingness to learn new processes and develop relationships with end users, key stakeholders and external partners is important.
- Communicate confidently and clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
- A willingness to work as part of a multi-skilled cross-functional team is a must, along with a flexible approach to working
