Summary
Thank you for your interest in our Java Software Engineering team at Elsevier. We are always looking to recruit passionate and highly skilled Java Engineers across all levels throughout the organisation and are continuing to look for people that can help us make a massive difference in our customer communities across science, technology and health.
Experience we look for in our Java Software Engineering Teams:
- Have good experience and knowledge with Java version 8 or higher, and Spring Frameworks
- Enjoy collaborating with team members to create innovative solutions for the research community
- Comfortable working with cloud-based infrastructure using Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud Platform or similar
- Be open to discussing and honing approaches for our team to improve our working practices
- Have experience or knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and mocking libraries
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal, communication and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
