THE JOB
As an account manager, you will play a key role in strategic partnerships, driving business growth and nurturing collaborative relationships with our key stakeholders. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring the success of our partnerships.
Business Development:
Establish and nurture professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Initiate discussions and negotiations with potential external partners, focusing on mutually beneficial terms.
Identify decision makers in partner companies and effectively communicate Decathlon's value proposition.
Develop comprehensive business plans with strategic objectives and economic targets.
Maximize business opportunities with supply and commercial teams, including overstocked products or end-of-life items.
Actively source new product lines and explore opportunities to expand product ranges.
Relationship Management:
Serve as the operational point of contact for wholesale partners, maintaining productive relationships.
Manage partner customer service activities, resolving queries and providing creative solutions.
Organize regular meetings and performance reviews to plan annual activities and forecast future requirements.
Ensure compliance with established procedures and standards, maintaining documentation for processes.
Collaborate closely with the commercial team to curate tailored product offers.
Leverage the Decathlon network to showcase product value and benefits to partners.
Economic Performance:
Contribute to defining processes and tools for enhanced efficiency within the business.
Review product performance and adjust strategies as needed to manage availability and profitability.
Develop cost price sheets per product and partner, ensuring sustainable margin levels.
Prepare and deliver business reviews, providing insights into partnership progress and health.
Support cost optimization efforts within the SWO team to drive business growth.
