We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Digital and Communications team. This role requires you to assist in creating successful design solutions that deliver great results. Ideally, we are looking for an all-rounder in graphic design. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an in-house design team to deliver a range of artwork projects across both print and digital formats.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Social and digital: dynamic content, banners and social ads, animated graphics, campaign visuals, simple video editing
- Print and artwork: Campaigns, posters, in-store artwork, booklets, as well as working on packaging design and product labels
- Creating and amending packaging artwork, advertising and related marketing campaigns
- Excellent art-working and retouching skills
- Taking projects from initial layout through final artwork to proof checking and approval
- Collaborating with internal teams to create designs for digital, packaging, POS, advertising and print
- Adhere to the brand guidelines and make sure consistency is key
- Supporting the Marketing team with any ad-hoc requests
- Adaption of existing approved creatives onto range of formats
- Photo retouching
- Proof checking
The ideel candidate for this position is a Junior Graphic Designer with varied experience and skills including typography, layout, colour and a good understanding of setup for print and digital
Experience and skills
- Ideally 1 to 2 years of experience working in an agency or in-house designer role.
- Ability to be creative, with an engaging and collaborative style, alongside other team members
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Nice to have but not essential...
- After Effects and Premier. Any 3D skills are a big bonus
