Job description
As a Junior DevOps Engineer at Tillo you can expect to work on a range of tooling. We are currently in the process of breaking down our main product into smaller bespoke micro-services. Your work will be pivotal in getting our development teams to work on our cloud infrastructure.
You will be working in the Platform Team, implementing new cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and improving our monitoring. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our development teams to assist them in automating as much of the software development life cycle as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Securing, monitoring & developing our AWS infrastructure
- Keeping up to date with new technologies & services that could benefit the Tillo platform
- Building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge sharing & promoting best practices with the development team
- Cost & performance optimization for the AWS environment
- Helping onboard new team members
- Monitoring adherence to the ISMS
- Advising on areas for improvement
- Implementing security controls
About You
You're an inquisitive individual with a positive approach to problem solving. You are able to describe technical challenges articulately and clearly, and you are someone who enjoys discussing projects with others.
To be successful, you will have some experience with:
- A Cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Linux
- Monitoring tools such as Elastic, New Relic, or Datadog
- Terraform
- Python
- AWS Elastic Beanstalk
- AWS EKS
- Bitbucket
- CircleCI
- MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- ISO 27001 / PCI DSS
- PHP
