Job description
We are looking for a Junior CAD Designer to join our creative team in the studio. The role will involve working closely with our lead designers to convert their production models into sets of workshop fabrication plans.
Experience with Solidworks and Sketchup are essential. A feel for spatial awareness and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to explain complex 3D challenges.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. The candidate will be responsible for communications between the studio & the workshop to develop and agree fabrication details and systems.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about design and eager to learn and grow in this role.
Starting Salary: £25k, negotiable depending upon experience.
Working hours: 37.75 hours per week, Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm, Fri 7am-12pm
Annual Leave entitlement: 200 hours holiday (prorated) plus bank holidays.
Overtime may be available, paid at your standard hourly rate.
