The Purpose:
To work with culinary and operations team to execute and deliver the catering services across the stadium business sectors, ensuring that the equipment and kitchen areas of the stadium are clean and tidy. This role also involves the movement of stores and equipment around the stadium.
The Role:
- Effectively carry out the cleaning of all machinery and cleaning equipment to specification.
- Carry out Company cleaning procedures and cleaning schedules according to the Standard Operating Procedure. (A copy is in the BOH office).
- Building a professional rapport with the Chef in charge of the Kitchen and the Room Manager overseeing the service (where applicable) or any other personnel involved in the kitchen operation.
- Must have the ability to adapt to different working environments, this includes but not limited to the First Team Restaurant and Kitchen areas, Academy building, Jimmy Murphy Centre, and Woman’s team area. Requirement on occasion to work within the stadium Kitchens if required.
- Show an exceptional level of service, ensuring all work areas are fully equipped for each Match Day.
- Ability to multitask and priorities workloads during busy periods.
- Ensuring all necessary equipment and (or) Disposables are returned to their source area.
- Ensuring Cleaning Schedule is filled in appropriately and making sure the kitchen is signed off by a BOH Duty Person.
- Assist in the transfer of equipment and personnel within the Stadium as and when required.
- To maintain cleanliness in all kitchens, cleaning rooms, BOH-related goods received areas, access areas, and any other requested by management.
- Removing refuse to allocated areas appropriately and abides by all Reds Go Green and Sustainability policies.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Protect company assets.
- Maintain a high level of personal hygiene, ensuring correct clean uniform and personal protective equipment are worn at all times.
- Ensure all legislation and codes of practice in relation to Health and Safety are adhered to, including the management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (this also includes Manual Handling) and COSHH 1994
The Person:
- Understanding of the organisational vision and values.

- The ability to be able to develop strong relationships with colleagues, line managers and external customer whilst understanding their priorities and negotiating to ensure effective delivery.

- The ability to be able to work in a high pressurised environment with ever changing timeframes.
