The Locogen group develops, builds and operates renewable and low carbon assets. We’re going through an exceptional growth phase and we’re looking for new and enthusiastic team members to help us tackle the pressing demand for renewable energy systems in the UK.
We are looking for a Graduate Business Information Systems Analyst to join the Locogen team. You will be required to understand, implement, maintain and develop the business’ systems in line with our processes to achieve business goals and growth, whilst remaining compliant and safeguarding the business’ data and assets.
This role will include IT support responsibilities to ensure any IT related software and hardware problems are resolved while also purchasing, maintenance and disposal of existing business equipment and infrastructure.
What are the main duties?
IT support:
- Support the Senior Business Analyst (SBA) with the procurement, disposal, and management of key company hardware and software
- First point of contact for IT support and service delivery (face-to-face and via phone)
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the company’s technology and its asset register
Business Information Systems Analyst:
- Support in the identification of potential new solutions and assess technical and business suitability
- Support the SBA with analysing, implementing and continually developing the business’ systems
- Develop, implement and maintain IT policies and procedures to guide employee and manager behaviour in relation to security, use and governance
- Support users on change control, system updates and reporting
- Providing training and user manuals to users of a new systems
- Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments
Business change & continuity:
- Support the company continuous improvement process and participate in internal auditor activities as required by management.
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties. You will be expected to perform different tasks as necessary to meet the overall business objectives of the company.
