The Growth Company’s (GC) team has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Content Producer Apprentice who will Support the Quality and Curriculum Team with the development and content writing of our digital learning platform; to improve the quality of teaching and learning across Education and Skills and to support blended learning delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of content as required using appropriate software
  • Update and edit learning resources for the virtual learning environment
  • Liaise with internal partners as approporiate, via phone, email, in person where appropriate
  • Communicate information in a professional and informal manner to the group’s audiences and other partners and stakeholders
  • Produce reports and management information on the usage of resources
  • Support the E-Learning Team with general administrative duties inc. meetings, invoicing and emailing
  • Administration and maintenance of the digital learning platform to ensure effective use of the system
  • Work with learners to gain feedback on digital provision to support continuous improvement.
  • Successfully complete a Junior Content Creator Apprenticeship at Level 3

About You

  • Ability to understand, demonstrate and apply GC values - Make a positive difference, stronger together, empower people, do the right thing, build on success
  • Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and partners
  • Essential: GCSE maths and English grades C/4 or above, or equivalents
  • Desirable: a relevant Level 2, or equivalent qualification

Skills Required

  • Flexible approach to work including willingness to travel and working occasional unsociable hours
  • Good organisational skills
  • A passion for creating content for creative and digital media
  • An ability to work effectively both individually and collaboratively as part of a team
  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Recognition and compliance with equality and diversity in the workplace
  • Excellent writing skills, with a particular talent for writing succinctly and with personality. A strong grasp of spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Digital content creation experience which may include development of resources, social media, digital communications, branding or graphic design

This is a fixed term apprenticeship for 18 months. You will complete the content creator qualification as part of this role.
