About this Opportunity

The day-to-day role of a Junior Consultant will largely involve:

  • Working in typical project teams of 2 – 5, supporting project delivery from the outset through to project completion
  • Conducting core quantitative and qualitative analysis of large data sets
  • Delivering project management responsibilities with oversight from senior members of the consulting team
  • Working collaboratively with our clients from the outset, developing strong relationships and supporting them through the project delivery
  • Assisting and subsequently leading the development of key deliverables to design structured and coherent communication of project outputs. Examples of deliverables include strategy reports, business cases, procurement exercises and operations reviews
  • Supporting on internal business development workstreams to support the expansion and growth of the organisation

What Experience and Skills do you need?

  • Excellent academic track record including a minimum of a 2:1 University Degree and strong A-level (or equivalent) results
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience of leadership in an academic, professional and / or extracurricular setting
  • Experience in time management
  • Solution-led approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong quantitative, numerical reasoning & analytical skills
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Willingness to travel to client site, where necessary (UK-based)

  • Be assigned a Mentor and Buddy to provide support required throughout your initial 3 – 6 months transition into the company
  • Be provided with a Careers Coach to support job performance and career-related activities such as setting personal goals and objectives and supporting you through your bi-annual performance review process. Due to nature of consulting where you’re often required to work in varied project teams, your careers coach will remain as a continuous point of contact throughout

First Round Interview:

Interviews will be held between 22nd May – 2nd June 2023

Group Assessment Centre Day:

We will then invite you to our Assessment Centre Day which will involve a series of exercises to further understand your capabilities across key skills. Over the course of the day, you will have the chance to meet a number of the team so that we can make sure that you’re the right fit for us as much as we are the right fit for you!

Assessment Centre Days will be held between 18th June – 28th June 2023

Final Round Director Interview:

Finally, we will arrange a short final round interview with one of our Directors of Consulting with the aim of understanding more about you as an individual

Final Round Interviews will be w/b 26th June 2023

Offer & Start

If you are successful in progressing through all of the above rounds, we will make you an offer in early July 2023. The anticipated start date for the role will be the beginning of September 2023. If there are any issues with this start date, please make the hiring team aware of this.
