The Role
Behind the beautiful and unique homes on Plum Guide is our passionate community of hosts. Often creative, intellectually curious, and travel-obsessed themselves, our hosts are an integral part of our platform. Our host community is growing rapidly, and the Account Management team at Plum is dedicated to helping our hosts achieve commercial success and enjoy the experience of hosting Plum guests.
This role will be part of the B2B Account Management team at Plum, working specifically with our professional hosts community.Your goal will be to equip B2B hosts with the knowledge, resources and support they need to optimise their performance through the Plum Guide platform.
You will fully own and manage communications across your assigned portfolio, by interacting daily with our B2B partners. You will be a part of an exciting and growing company during a pivotal stage of growth, and a key representative for our expanding and global host community.
Responsibilities
- Provide commercial support to our network of hosts
- Effectively prioritise and manage a portfolio of professional management companies and high value B2C hosts
- Support the supply team and head of account management in ad-hoc projects to drive an increase in sales
- Hold regular monthly review calls and QBRs with your partners
- Develop deep knowledge of your partners' business and create value by identifying, clarifying and prioritising their needs.
- Identify opportunities to scale efficiency across day to day tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are being met
- Meet and exceed quarterly growth targets
Qualifications / Skills
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience, 1 year in an account manager or client success role.
- Travel industry experienced (preferred) marketplace sales and/or e-commerce experience
- Proven track record of being able to effectively work a book of business and showing commercial success
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person across all levels of partner organisations
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to get things done in a complex and fast paced environment
- Pro-active, able to take responsibility / initiative and work independently
- Proven track record in building enduring and successful client relationships
- Proficient quantitative skills and proven ability to interpret and apply data throughout your day-to-day work
- A hustler, ultimately we are still a startup and things aren't always perfect. We need someone that can identify solutions.
- Salesforce proficiency is a plus
