We're an international media company looking for a keen and enthusiastic graduate journalist with an interest in business news. This role offers fantastic variety, and the opportunity to interview some of the Canada’s leading business figures, whilst gaining invaluable experience in the media industry.
This role is hybrid and will involve candidates coming into the office two days a week.

The position involves:
- Conducting research and gathering information for articles, stories, and other content pieces.
- Interviewing and profiling business leaders
- Conducting interviews over the phone and face-to-face
- Breaking news… as it happens.
- Develop and pitch story ideas that align with our editorial vision and mission.
- Attend and report on events and press conferences as required.
- Collaborate with other members of the editorial team to ensure the timely delivery of content.
- Contributing to an award-winning portfolio of B2B titles across the Canada and worldwide
Skills and Experience needed :
- A minimum undergraduate degree in Journalism or equivalent
- Ability to learn quickly, to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrable interest in Business Journalism
- People who are self-motivated, confident, well-organised, and inquisitive by nature
