Job description
The ICMA Centre is the finance department within Henley Business School who require an evening porter/cleaner. The main duties involve:
- Locking up building (securing windows, doors, checking exits and clearing building of students/guests)
- Monitoring and dealing with safety and security issues (behaviour of students using building outside of standard office hours)
- Help students with queries
- Emptying waste and recycling bins (public spaces, offices and teaching rooms) and removal of waste to main bins
- Cleaning building spaces on a rota basis
- Hoovering atriums and office spaces
- Clearing crockery to Café Bar each evening
- Monitoring water machine and cleaning daily
- Reporting maintenance to managing team
- Helping at events within department if required
- Portering for cleaning/events as required
- Any other task as appropriate to grade
- Turning off lights and IT equipment
